Rob has over 20 years of HR and Recruiting experience in mid-sized fast-growing companies, large global corporations, and small privately held businesses. Prior to co-founding Recruiting Pals and HR Pals, Rob was a Senior HR Executive for a rapid-growth solar energy business where he built a recruiting function that filled over 100 positions per month. Earlier in his career, Rob spent several years as the VP of HR at MedAssets, a 3,000 employee healthcare services and technology company, where he oversaw 600% growth in the Company’s employee population and helped guide the Company through several acquisitions and its IPO process. His additional experience includes five years as an HR leader at EarthLink during the dot.com era, Fortune 500 experience at Toyota and AECOM Technology, and head of HR for a 150 employee privately-held software company. Rob holds a Bachelors in Psychology from UC Berkeley and a Masters from the Anderson School of Management at UCLA. He has also been certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources since 2001.
Jamie’s career started as an entrepreneur and small business owner over 20 years ago, when she took her savings and bought a struggling restaurant. After turning the business around, Jamie went on to run a doughnut shop, a flower shop and a video store. After getting her Bachelor’s degree in HR from Cal Poly University, Jamie embarked on her career in HR starting out at an HR outsourcing firm that catered to small businesses and professional services firms. Following that assignment, Jamie worked as an HR Generalist in manufacturing before moving to Vivendi Universal as the HR Manager for the Games Division. Following Vivendi, Jamie was recruited to Public Storage (an $8 billion real estate management company) as their Employee Relations Manager before being promoted to Compliance Officer. From there, Jamie moved on to key HR leadership roles at Scripps Networks (Parent Company of The Food Network) and TBA Global, a 350 employee marketing firm. Jamie also spent time at AECOM Technology and Verengo Solar in key leadership roles. Jamie is fluent in Mandarin and Cantonese.
Adriana is responsible for ongoing development of the Company’s candidate sourcing methodologies and ensuring that we’re consistently delivering results for our clients. Adriana also manages the Company’s HR, IT, operations, administration, and legal recruiting practices. Prior to Recruiting Pals, Adriana managed a highly successful 10-person talent acquisition team in the renewable energy industry. Adriana holds a Bachelors in Communications from Cal State University, Long Beach.
Andrea joined Recruiting Pals in 2015 and manages the Company’s software development, product management, accounting, and semiconductor searches. Prior to joining the Company, Andrea worked as a college instructor and assessment center coordinator where she developed the research and analytical skills she uses today as an outstanding recruiter. Andrea holds a Bachelors in Psychology from the University of Georgia and a Masters in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from Radford University in Virginia.
With a knack for identifying top performers, Dera leads the Company’s healthcare, account management, operations, and engineering searches. Prior to joining Recruiting Pals, Dera worked in software Quality Assurance and systems training, developing a strong technology background which she uses today in her recruiting work. Dera also owns and operates a fashion styling and consulting business. Dera holds a B.S. in Information Systems and Business Management from San Diego State University.
Martha plays a dual role for the Company as both a business development and recruiting consultant. Her recruiting areas of expertise are customer service, marketing, and project management. Prior to Recruiting Pals, Martha spent 20 years working in the municipal sector. As Assistant Director for a Recreation and Community Services Department, she developed exceptional skills in candidate sourcing and assessment which she uses today as a top recruiter. Martha holds both a Bachelors and Masters in Management from the University of Phoenix.
In his role, Michael is responsible for cultivating new client relationships and managing the company’s executive search, sales, accounting, and non-profit recruiting practices. Prior to Recruiting Pals, Michael spent 30+ years as a Senior HR and Sales Executive in the Financial Services, Internet, and Telecommunications industries where he recruited and hired thousands of team members. Michael holds a Bachelors in History from Cal State University, Long Beach.
Adrian is a bilingual, multifaceted, and goal-oriented Senior HR Generalist. In his role, Adrian handles the day-to-day HR administration with confidentiality and a sense of urgency including new hire onboarding, payroll, employee relations, benefits, and performance management. Prior to joining HR Pals, Adrian honed his HR and payroll skills in the oil & energy industries. Adrian is currently pursuing his Bachelors in Business and HR Management from the University of Phoenix.
Erika is a bilingual HR Manager with 7+ years of well-rounded HR experience. In her current capacity, she is responsible for all aspects of HR including employee relations, enforcement of employment policies and practices, compliance, benefits administration, workers’ comp, and training. Prior to HR Pals, Erika worked in the residential solar industry and was promoted numerous times during her tenure. Erika holds a Bachelors in Political Science from UC Irvine.
Lara is responsible for cultivating new and existing client relationships for the Company. Prior to joining HR Pals, Lara spent several years helping growing companies define and build their talent needs, workplace cultures, employer brands, and marketing strategies. Lara has successfully worked across a wide spectrum of industries and client companies, successfully exceeding her sales targets every year. Lara holds a Bachelors in Accounting and Information Systems from Eastern Michigan University.
Lysette is a bilingual HR Generalist with six years of payroll, recruiting, and HR experience. In her current hybrid role, Lysette handles a wide variety of responsibilities for our clients including recruiting, onboarding, payroll, employee relations, compliance, and HR administration. Prior to HR Pals, Lysette worked in payroll, HR, and operations roles in the construction and entertainment industries. Lysette holds a Bachelors in Business Administration from Cal State Long Beach.
As the Company’s Senior HR Consultant Melanie is responsible for cultivating healthy client relationships, supporting our clients with employee and labor relations management, and developing compliant policies and procedures. Prior to HR Pals, Melanie spent 25+ years as an HR Consultant and an HR leader in the healthcare and technology industries. Melanie holds a Bachelors in Business and HR from Woodbury University and a Masters in HR from Claremont Graduate University.
